PETALING JAYA, 4 MAR, 2010: Kulim Bandar Baharu Member of Parliament (MP) Zulkifli Noordin today walked out of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat's (PKR) disciplinary board hearing on the use of the word "Allah", in protest of the case being heard by non-Muslim members in the panel.

He said the action was taken based on his stand not to allow or recognise non-Muslim panel to discuss matters regarding Islam.

This giant pineapple will greet you upon your arrival at the wharf in Sarikei.

It is interesting to note that though there is not a single pineapple farm nearby but yet a replica of a pineapple is erected at the heart of Sarikei. Maybe some time ago, Sarikei used to be a major pineapple grower.

Eventhough it is contructed with good craftmanship but due to its location which is quite secluded, this giant replica can go unnoticed at times and rendering it unknown to newcomers.

But then again, people just go to the wharf and wait for the boat, hop in and off they go to their destination. Just leave the replica alone.

KUALA LUMPUR, 5 Mac — Ketika hampir genap dua tahun selepas pilihan raya umum ke-12, Mufti Perak Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria mendakwa PAS bersikap angkuh dengan menolak syor agar dibentuk kerajaan campuran di negeri itu pada 2008.

Beliau menceritakan keangkuhan PAS Perak yang menolak mentah-mentah cadangan penubuhan kerajaan perpaduan di negeri itu walaupun secara dasarnya ia diperkenan oleh Sultan Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah dan juga dipersetujui oleh kepimpinan tertinggi parti itu.

SHAH ALAM, March 5 — Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim proved his naysayers wrong by successfully collecting more than RM50 million in cash and assets from developer Talam Corp Bhd after acquiring its debts from state firms.

The Selangor mentri besar came under fire last November for getting the state to buy up RM392 million in debts which Talam owed to three state companies, all accumulated during Datuk Seri Dr Khir Toyo’s administration.
