Bra-gain Hunters

A SAUCY sales ploy saw women strip to their undies to get free clothes yesterday.

The first 100 people in their pants to brave chilly weather and queue outside Desigual in San Sebastian, northern Spain, could take an outfit home.

Stores in Barcelona and Marbella also had scantily-clad bargain hunters. Maybe they needed some retail phwoar-apy.

Or was it a political move to get rid of a cabinet minister?

Two Indonesian agencies, one a government body and the other an NGO, are offering opposing stories on whether an Indonesian maid was raped by Malaysian Communications and Culture Minister Rais Yatim in 2007. But whether she was or wasn't, it has become the latest episode in a feud between the 68-year-old Rais and Malaysian bloggers who gave the story wide currency, with overtones of an attempt to drive him out of the cabinet.

One agency said the woman, identified by her single name as Robingha, denied being raped although another said that four years ago she told them she had indeed been sexually assaulted. Jumhur Hidayat, chairman of the National Board for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Overseas Workers, said Friday in Jakarta that the maid had delivered a written statement to four of the board's personnel in central Java that she had never been raped and that she had been treated well in Rais's home.

However, Anis Hidayah, the director of Migrant Care, an Indonesian NGO, said the woman had reported in 2007 that she had indeed been raped and that a report had been filed with the Indonesian embassy in Kuala Lumpur and the Indonesian National Police. Anis Hidayah said Rubingah had claimed at the time that she had been raped. Click  HERE for more.

The Fattest Place on Earth

The fattest place on earth isn't in America!

The tiny Pacific island nation of Nauru holds that honor. At only 8.1 sq. miles, with a population of less than 10,000, the country's inhabitants have virtually become giants.

Ninety-five percent of the island's adult population is overweight, and 85 percent of the male adult population is obese, according to ABC News.

However, island natives haven't always been this fat. According to ABC, it wasn't until they began importing Western food that the population's size exploded. Now half of Nauruans suffer from Type II diabetes.

PERESTROIKA! GLASNOT! Whatever!!

A terrifying video of a Russian teen's daredevil jump with a makeshift bungee cord has gone viral.

In the clip, a young woman is hoisted to the ledge of residential building before being tossed, screaming, to the depths below. Though the homemade bungee was fortunately sturdy enough to support the jump, it was undoubtedly was a frosty experience, judging from the snow-covered grounds and gusts of wind obstructing the microphone.

Watch video of the teen's daring act below:
