Madu tualang power! Click here
These two derbies between Manchester United/Liverpool and Arsenal/Tottenham Hotspur are without question the two most hostile in England, but the fixture that took place this weekend definitely takes the cake over the other.

United supporters would rather have any other team – well, besides, maybe, Manchester City – win the league than Liverpool.

Sir Alex Ferguson brings a player into the club, he sits them all down and teaches them who to hate.

ask Diego Forlan – as the Uruguayan still hears his name sung around Old Trafford and Anfield.

Many critics will say that the importance of the competition makes the difference in the atmospheres, however, the point that these pundits need to take into effect is that the hatred for a rival trumps over the significance of the contest.

Forlan Stabbed You TWICE, Remember?

Madu tualang power! Click here

Diego Forlan has spoken to the official website about his time at Manchester United. After Dimitar Berbatov scored a hattrick against Liverpool yesterday, Forlan was asked how well he remembered the two goals he scored at Anfield in 2002.

“Very clearly,” Forlan responded. “They came at a difficult time for me. I was not playing so much and hardly playing in the big games. I didn’t feel like a footballer. I was training, but not playing. At the start of my time at United I was OK about sitting on the bench or even in the stands, but then I wanted to be playing 90 minutes. That game against Liverpool was one time I played a full game. It was not an easy game to start in and the first half was difficult, I didn’t see much of the ball. Part of me was thinking that I was going to be substituted, but it all changed in the second half. Gary Neville was the first to come up to me after the game as we celebrated. He looked me in the eyes and said, “They’ll never forget you here after that.”

Islam, Muslims and MUSIC

Madu tualang power! Click here
Imam Khomeini also answered a question about the use of musical instruments by saying that it depends on how they are used and by whom: this view echoes Imam Ghazali, who made distinctions about music according to three criteria: the place of listening, the time of listening, and the companions of listening. This is not to say only that music is a free-for-all, that each person makes individual rules. Rather it is recognition that people are at different stages, and that some people are more aware and others more distracted.

by Yusuf al-Khabbaz/HARAKAH DAILY

Muslims will often begin inquiries into the art of sound in the world of Islam by asking whether listening to music is haram.

The term haram has a legal sense and a cultural sense. The cultural sense of the word, the way it is used casually, is closer to the meaning of "shameful". In the legal sense, to be haram requires that something is explicitly forbidden in Qur’an and Hadith, with punishments laid down in the shari’ah for infraction. This does not apply to music.

Nor is there any consensus among Muslim scholars. The Qur’an says nothing directly about music, and scholars usually use qiyas (analogy) to extrapolate from other areas.

He may be 6ft 4in but that don’t mean a thing when you look at his time in north London where he never fulfilled any supposed potential. His worst moment must surely be his role in Arsenal’s 6-1 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford, in 2001.

And what will explain to thee what the night of power is?
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand:
Peace!...This until the rise of morn!
(Qur'an, 97:1-5)

This chapter (Surah) was revealed in Makkah, and its basic theme is honoring the revelation of this blessed book, the Holy Qur'an. The Night of Power or honor is a special gift only to the community (Ummah) of Islam. The night is one which even the angels in the heavens see as worthy of witnessing. The night is so rich with holiness, as the night when good deeds are returned, and is equal to a thousand months in the sight of Allah.

Jermaine Pennant (£6.7m): “I’ve dreamt about this since I was a little boy,” said Pennant when he moved from Birmingham. In the last year of his contract and apparently on his way out, though he is said to have turned down approaches from Stoke and Blackburn. Just four appearances this season.

Antonio Nunez (swap): “Nunez is an important signing,” said Benitez of the man who came from Real Madrid as part of the deal that took Michael Owen to Spain. But he tore knee ligaments in his second training session and left a year later with nothing but a Champions League winner’s medal to show for his time in England

Josemi (£2.6m): Benítez’s first signing for Liverpool, “a right-sided player in the Jamie Carragher mould” who “is good in the air and can make this team stronger”. After 21 appearances in two seasons he was given away. “I didn’t like beans on toast,” he said. “I prefer to eat Spanish food.”

Fernando Morientes (£6.3m): Arrived with a wonderful reputation as one of Europe’s premier goalscorers, but showed little of that talent in his 18 months on Merseyside, scoring just eight league goals at a rate of one every five games. “I had a good first year but the second was worse. The last three months were terrible,” he surmised

Mauricio Pellegrino (free): The first Argentinian to play for Liverpool, but he didn’t do it very often. Already 33 when he signed, he was still 33 when he left, 12 appearances later. Now back, as first-team coach

Mark Gonzalez (£4.5m): “Only if you know nothing about football could you say he is not good enough to play in the Premiership,” fumed Benítez after the speedy winger was refused a work permit in 2005. A year later he got his permit. A year after that he had been sold to Real Betis. Apparently he was not good enough to play in the Premiership

Antonio Barragán (free): A right-back snapped up from Sevilla before he had made a first-team appearance, Barragán played for 11 minutes of a Champions League tie againsst CSKA Sofia, his entire first-team experience before being sold to Deportivo La Coruna. Liverpool have a buy-back option, so fans might not have seen the last of him

Jan Kromkamp (swap): The Dutchman’s career was on the slide: Villarreal signed him from Alkmaar for £5m, but gave him to Liverpool six months later in exchange for Josemi. He hadn’t reached the bottom: another six months and he was back in Holland, with PSV

Andriy Voronin (free): Ukrainian striker who’s blonde pony-tail and broad physique made him stand out from the average footballer. “He’s a good worker and he scores goals,” said Benitez. Six of them, to be precise. Now on loan for the season at Hertha Berlin

Gabriel Paletta (£2m): Trumpeted as “exactly the sort of player we need who will suit the Premier League”. In fact the Argentinian centre-back started only two league games, Liverpool lost them both (to Portsmouth and Fulham) and now he’s back in Argentina

Craig Bellamy (£6.5m): He was supposed to have “the ability, the pace and the talent we’ve been looking for” when he moved from Blackburn in July 2006. Within months he was attacking team-mate John Arne Riise with a golf club in a karaoke-related incident, and when Fernando Torres joined he signed for West Ham for £7.5m. “I could sit at Liverpool as a squad player,” he said, “but I’d be cheating myself and my personality.”
